Foreign Language Department Courses

French 1 introduces the student to the French language and to the Francophone world. The course will include speaking, reading and writing in the French language. The course will encourage students to experience Francophone culture in various parts of the world, comparing and contrasting it to their own American culture.

French II builds on the language skills learned in French I. Students will learn more complex speech, thought and writing patterns.
