On October 5, the Saints traveled to Novi to take on conference opponent Franklin Road Christian. Junior Jesse Smrcka had a beautiful free kick assist to senior Tyler Blohm to open the scoring midway through the first half. Franklin Road tied the game late in regulation by connecting on a corner kick. The Saints scored in the first overtime period with sophomore Michael Roebke tapping home Tyler Blohm's deflected shot. However, late in the second overtime period, Franklin Road once again tied the score with a goal from a direct free kick. The Saints drop to 10-4-1 (8-2-1 MIAC). Despite the draw, to God be the Glory!
