On October 7, Lutheran South hosted conference opponent Huron Valley Lutheran. The fall homecoming game and Senior Night was well played by the Saints in a 9-1 victory. In a modern day version of "Rudy," senior Chris Milz scored his first career goal by heading home Michael Roebke's cross to end the game in a mercy. Senior Tyler Blohm had a career high 4 goals in the contest. Sophomore Michael Roebke had 1 goal and 3 assists as well as scoring the quickest goal in Saints history by blasting home a strong shot 37 seconds into the game. Junior Jesse Smrcka controlled the midfield and added 1 goal and 2 assists. Other contributors were senior Nate Konkel (1 goal), junior Dylan Smith (1 goal and 1 assist), sophomore Christian Taylor (1 assist), and senior Jacob Hand (1 assist). Junior goalkeeper Adam Scott recorded 1 save in the contest by saving a first half penalty shot. The Saints improve to 11-4-1 (9-2-1 MIAC). To God be the Glory!
